The HAVN Houses

Thoughtfully Designed Houses, Built for Long-Term Performance

Our houses are designed with a clear purpose: to deliver a high-quality guest experience while remaining operationally efficient, durable, and scalable over time. Every design decision is made with long-term performance in mind, ensuring the houses work equally well for guests, land partners, and operational teams.

The houses combine Scandinavian architecture, modular innovation, and sustainable materials to create spaces that feel both grounded and open. Every home is designed with intention: smart layouts, generous natural light, and a seamless connection between indoors and outdoors. Rather than relying on short-lived trends, the houses are developed to perform consistently across locations, seasons, and guest segments.

Built for Real Use

Short-term rental homes experience significantly higher wear and tear than traditional housing. For that reason, materials and finishes are selected primarily for durability and ease of maintenance. Surfaces are hard-wearing, fixtures are easy to repair or replace, and design solutions are chosen to reduce operational complexity over time.

This approach minimizes downtime, keeps maintenance predictable, and ensures the houses remain reliable assets rather than becoming costly to manage.

Comfort That Guests Recognize

Operational efficiency never comes at the expense of comfort. Finishes, insulation, acoustics, climate control, and lighting are carefully considered to ensure the houses feel welcoming throughout the year. Interiors are intentionally calm and uncluttered, allowing guests to relax without unnecessary features or distractions.

This balance between simplicity and comfort is central to the guest experience and plays a key role in driving strong reviews, repeat bookings, and sustained demand.

Designed for Long-Term Value

The houses are shaped by Scandinavian design principles that prioritise simplicity, functionality, and longevity. Interiors are intentionally restrained, allowing light, space, and materials to define the experience rather than short-lived design trends.

Durable materials and neutral palettes ensure the interiors age gracefully and remain relevant over time. The result is a living environment that is easy to maintain, consistently appreciated by guests, and designed to create long-term value for land partners rather than short-term appeal.

Technical Property Information

Each house has a unique serial number which is created by HAVN, and installed when the house is manufactured by any of our house partners. You can find an engraved metal plate on the backside of the house where the serial number will be written out.

This serial number tells us which unit it is and the history of it; who is the manufacturer, when was it produced, where it’s installed and what insurances and other important documentation belongs to it. It also tells us what finishing materials, equipment and interior was bought for this house specifically.

To access this information we have created a Digital Property Ledger and installed a QR-code on the inside of the cabinet door in the technical room to access the ledger. Scan it and select the property you want to see information for. The QR-code is password protected and you will be given one my the HAVN property management team.
